How accurate is the chart?

Do I need an exact birth time?
Exact birth time is needed for the Ascendant, Midheaven, and houses. Without it, ChartLiving still calculates planets and aspects.
What if place search is unavailable?
Use manual coordinates and an IANA time zone such as America/New_York, Europe/London, or Asia/Shanghai.
Is this Vedic or Western astrology?
ChartLiving currently uses Western tropical astrology. Sidereal options are planned for future advanced settings.
Can I save or export my chart?
Yes. Sign in to save charts, revisit reports, and export eligible reports as PDF.
Does AI calculate the planets?
No. Planetary positions are calculated deterministically with Swiss Ephemeris; AI only assists the interpretation text.
What house system is used?
Placidus is the default house system. If houses cannot be calculated at a high latitude, the app shows a warning.
Is my birth data private?
Core calculations run without requiring an account. Saved charts require sign-in and are stored only for your account.
Can I use this for compatibility?
Yes. Save two charts and open the synastry workspace to compare cross-aspects and relationship patterns.
